Introduce your children to dozens of new activities and sports at the Family Sport and Recreation Festival on Saturday at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence. This is the ninth year of the pre-summer destination event, hosted by the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame and PISE.
At the family-friendly event children — and their families — can try their hand at more than 30 different activities and sports, including rock climbing, tennis, obstacle courses, adapted sports, golf and others.
The festival is free. It runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence, 4371 Interurban Rd. For more information, go to pise.ca/family-sport-rec-festival/
