Fans of the Kiefer Sutherland drama Touch will have to wait a little longer for the series to kick off its second season.

Fox has moved the series' season première to a to-be-determined date and time in January. New episodes of the Gordon Ramsay reality hit Kitchen Nightmares will now kick off on Oct. 26 at 8 p.m., when Touch was originally scheduled to resume.

The shift allows Touch to have an uninterrupted run and means that the series will benefit from strong promotional platforms.

The series, which stars Sutherland as Martin Bohm, a reporter and single father with an emotionally disturbed but extraordinarily gifted son Jake (David Mazouz), premiered in March to a strong 3.3 rating/9 share in the advertiser-cherished 18-49 demographic, although it dropped to a low of 1.3 in the demo with its June finale.
