Classic rock king Steve Miller has cancelled his upcoming summer tour of North America, which includes a Sept. 1 date at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre.

Miller was set to hit the road June 13 for three months of dates on his Americana tour, but those have been taken off his agenda “out of an abundance of caution” due to the ongoing pandemic, according to organizers.

The hitmaker behind Jet Airliner, Take the Money and Run and The Joker drew 6,247 fans to the Blanshard Street arena in 2018 for his concert with Peter Frampton.

Tickets purchased online or by phone through selectyourtickets.com will be automatically refunded to the credit card on file.

Tickets bought in person at the box office will need to visit Select Your Tickets (1925 Blanshard St.).
