A pair of intimate concerts in Sidney next year will kick off Johnny Reid’s massive Canadian tour to support his new album, The Revival.

The six-time Juno Award winner is set to perform Feb. 26 and 27 at the 300-seat Charlie White Theatre in the Mary Winspear Centre. The shows are expected to sell out, as Reid’s trek will also feature a special appearance by Glass Tiger.

Reid, who is making a long-awaited return to the road, hasn’t performed in the Victoria area since 2013, when a concert drew 2,547 fans to Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre.

The Scottish-Canadian singer will also be performing at the Port Theatre in Nanaimo (Feb. 28) and the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre in Duncan (March 1).

Tickets for the Sidney dates go on sale Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. For more information on pricing, contact the Mary Winspear box office at 250-656-0275 or visit marywinspear.ca.
