Series of short films on display at Deluge Contemporary Art

A program of short films from Canada, France and the United States will activate the window display at Deluge Contemporary Art through the weekend.

Rising runs until Jan. 9, and includes work by contemporary filmmakers Emily Pelstring (Canada), Laura Kraning (United States), Charlotte Clermont (Canada), and Pierre Ajavon (France). The series, which can be viewed from the street, runs nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Deluge transom window at 636 Yates St. The quartet of films incorporate several mediums and formats, including photograms, 16mm film, holography, and sound. The pieces runs approximately three to four minutes each.
