Pamela Anderson tied the knot twice in 2020, as it turns out — the most recent time coming on Christmas Eve, U.K. tabloid The Daily Mail has reported.
Anderson, 53, married her bodyguard, Dan Hayhurst, in a private ceremony at her waterfront Ladysmith residence on Dec. 24. Hayhurt is reportedly a Ladysmith resident with roots in the local construction industry. The couple met at the outset of the pandemic, and were married nine months later, with no family or friends present, by a local pastor.
The ceremony was blessed by members of nearby Snuneymuxw First Nation, according to The Daily Mail. “I was married on the property I bought from my grandparents 25 years ago, this is where my parents were married and they are still together,” Anderson said. “I feel like I’ve come full circle.”
The marriage is Anderson’s fourth.
The Vancouver Island-born model and actress wed movie producer Jon Peters on Jan. 20, 2020. She split from Peters 12 days later, claiming the marriage was never official as paperwork was never filed. She was previously married to musicians Kid Rock and Tommy Lee (with whom she has two children) and Rick Salomon.
Anderson announced Tuesday on Instagram that she was permanently saying “goodbye” to social media. “I’ve never been interested in social media and now that I’m settled into the life I’m genuinely inspired by reading and being in nature I am free,” she wrote.
“Let’s hope you find the strength and inspiration to follow your purpose and try not to be seduced by wasted time. That’s what THEY want and can use to make money [and] control over your brain.”
