The Devout
(Vic Theatre) With his four-year-old daughter, Abigail, suffering from terminal cancer, Darryl Eckford desperately tries to support her during her final weeks. Abigail is obsessed with space and seems to know incredible details about the Apollo 1 space mission. After some research, Darryl uncovers inexplicable coincidences. Being a devout Christian, he struggles with his faith, once he starts believing that his daughter was an astronaut in a former life.
