Legendary psych-pop group the Zombies coming to Victoria

Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame members the Zombies will bring their legendary psych-pop sounds to the Alix Goolden Performance Hall next year with co-founders Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone in tow. The Zombies will make their Victoria debut on April 25.

Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame members the Zombies will bring their legendary psych-pop sounds to the Alix Goolden Performance Hall next year with co-founders Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone in tow.

The Zombies will make their Victoria debut on April 25.

Tickets ($49.50) go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through eventbrite.ca and the Alix Goolden Performance Hall box office (250-386-5311).

Argent and Blunstone, who handle vocal duties in the British act, have been at the helm of the Zombies since 1962. They co-authored numerous hits with the group, including She’s Not There, Time of the Season and Tell Her No, on their way to becoming the second U.K. band following the Beatles to score a No. 1 hit in the U.S. Odyssey and Oracle, from 1968, is ranked number 100 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
