James Taylor will kick off his Coast to Coast Canadian Tour in Victoria next year with Bonnie Raitt in tow, the first of 12 stops across the country for the Grammy Award winners.

Taylor will be making his third Victoria appearance in 12 years when he performs at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre on April 14. Raitt has not played Victoria in several decades, which will make tickets for the tour a hot commodity locally. Taylor, 71, drew 5,771 fans to the Blanshard Street arena when he last played there in 2016.

Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. through selectyourtickets.com. They are available in person at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre box office (1925 Blanshard St.) or by phone at 250-220-7777.

Tickets are $59.50, $99.50, and $155. Each ticket includes a CD copy or digital download of Taylor’s forthcoming album, which will be released on Fantasy Records early next year.
