A documentary narrated by Oscar winner Russell Crowe opened Friday at IMAX Victoria, the first première at the theatre in the Royal B.C. Museum since March.

Turtle Odyssey will run through the summer at the Belleville Street theatre, with a reduced capacity of 50 people for each screening. The film, which follows the journey of an Australian green sea turtle nicknamed Bunji as it traverses the open ocean, is presented in both 2D and 3D formats and joins Great Bear Rainforest, Sea Lions and Mission: Impossible — Fallout on the IMAX Victoria marquee.

Tickets for all screenings must be purchased in advance online from imaxvictoria.com and patrons will be asked to follow safety protocols while inside the theatre.
