Country star Dean Brody snags CCMA

Dean Brody, who sang about Canadian girls looking sexy in their toques, won album of the year for his album Dirt.

Earlier in the ceremony, Brody was also crowned male artist of the year, Johnny Reid won the fans' choice award and Carolyn Dawn Johnson was named female artist of the year - a title she's won four previous times.

American country music star Taylor Swift was presented with the generation award and said country music fans make her feel at home in Canada.
