The high-wire acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil will fill the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre in January with seven performances of the Montreal company’s latest production, Corteo.
Performances of Corteo — which has played to more than 10 million people in 20 countries on four continents — are scheduled to run Jan. 11 through Jan. 14, 2024. The production, which premiered in 2005, combines acrobatic feats, comedy and acting “in a mysterious space between heaven and earth,” according to producers.
The show is directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, who oversaw the closing ceremonies for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy.
