Toronto rockers Billy Talent would have performed in Victoria at some point during the past 10 years, if not for the pandemic. The Try Honestly hitmakers have been absent from these environs since 2014, when the group performed at Colwood’s Rock the Shores festival.

The seven-time Juno Award winners have brought that dry spell to an end and will return to Victoria Wednesday night for their first concert at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre since 2010, with Vancouver punks Gob as the opening act.

Billy Talent is touring to support its sixth album, Crisis of Faith, which earned singer Ben Kowalewicz, guitarist Ian D’Sa, bassist Jon Gallant, and drummer Jordan Hastings a Juno Award nomination for rock album of the year in 2022.

Tickets ($50.50-$65.50, plus service charges) are available through livenation.com and selectyourtickets.com. They are also available in person at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre (1925 Blanshard St.) or by phone from 250-220-2600.
