Expect to see about 200 vehicles - including a few full-sized ones - on display.

This year's theme is Rubber Tired Vehicles - hot rods, customs, race cars, trucks, classics, rat rods and motorcycles.

Participants are invited to bring along their models. There will be vendors with kits and parts for sale and lots of experts willing to share their experience.

There will also be a slot-car track for people to try out.

Admission is by donation. The event runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Salvation Army Citadel, 4030 Douglas St. (off McKenzie Avenue). For more information, contact Phil Dauphinee at 250-595-2335.
