Nissan Canada will begin to accept pre-orders for the first allocation of its all-electric Leaf beginning at noon on Saturday, October 22.
The company is releasing 350 vehicles in the coming months. Buyers have to live within 65 kilometres of an approved Nissan Leaf certified dealer. Victoria's Campus Nissan is one of those dealers.
Starting price is $38,395, same as the 2011's.
People who are interested should register at www.nissan.ca/leaf. Once registered buyers will be asked for a $99 reservation fee (fully refundable) to secure a car.
