The B.C. and federal governments are advising against travel abroad, and are encouraging Canadians who are out of the country to return as soon as possible. B.C. officials are asking people coming to the province from abroad — both residents and visitors — to self-isolate for 14 days after they arrive. If they are feeling well, they can arrange to work from home. If they are feeling ill, they can phone the 811 nurses' line for advice.
