Judith Hewitt, a long-serving Sunshine Coast Welcome Wagon representative, has retired after delivering hundreds of gift baskets and coupons to welcome people to the Coast for more than four years. Her work was truly appreciated by many of the local sponsors and newcomers, and especially by Welcome Wagon Canada. She has made many great connections in the community, and we wish her all the best!

Charon O’Brien recently replaced Hewitt, and she has formed a new vibrant team of Sunshine Coast representatives, as Welcome Wagon celebrates 87 years of service.
Welcome Wagon Canada visits newcomers, new parents or recently relocated, local people on the entire Sunshine Coast, with free gifts from almost 30 local businesses as well as useful information from government agencies and local services and resources.
The newest additions to the Sunshine Coast Welcome Wagon team are Stephi Taylor, Laurie Faulkner and Sharon Hilton. These representatives are able to answer most questions you may have about the Sunshine Coast and its communities, plus they can help guide you to the right resources, helping you with your future Sunshine Coast interests. Visits take about 30 to 40 minutes.
As Hewitt once said, “The misconception some people have is that we’re trying to sell them something, and we’re not. It’s really just about the idea of a community welcoming a new Coaster or a new baby to the Coast.”
