Natasha Thambirajah, a policy adviser at the Ministry of Health, has joined the board of the Island Sexual Health Society, one of the largest sexual health clinics in the province. She joins current members Art Celuszak, the board president, as well as Julian Young, Davona Harlow, Barbara Armstrong, Anna Gardner, Makenna Rielly and medical director Dr. Jennifer Ross. The society provides clinical services and community information in clinics downtown and on the West Shore and Saanich Peninsula as well as Camosun College and Belmont Secondary ... Dominic Yu and Neil Barman are recent additions to the staff at Moore Architecture. Yu was previously with Moore Patterson Architects and Stantec while Barman worked at KMP Architecture, de Hoog & Kierulf and MJM Architects ... Robert Amos, a prolific Victoria artist and long-time art critic for the Times Colonist, is the next artist-in-residence at the Fairmont Empress Hotel. Amos will be introduced for the autumn position during a presentation and mixer Aug. 9 in the Palm Court of the Crystal Ballroom.
