Improved sales performance and selling off noncore assets gave Victoria's Vecima Networks a turnaround of $13-million in its year-end performance in 2012. The company, which designs and manufactures products for broadband access to cable and wireless networks, reported a $13.3 million profit in the fiscal year 2012, ended June 30, compared with a $300,000 profit recorded in 2011. Vecima has banked $10.5 million in real estate sales and $31.5 million by selling radio spectrum licences over two years.
