Greater Victoria motorists received another hit at the pumps on Monday when the price of a litre of regular fuel climbed to $2.349 at some service stations.

The cost of gasoline had been $2.219 and $2.199 at most pumps in the capital region prior to the latest jump.

Unsettled global conditions — primarily Russia’s war in Ukraine — along with inflation in this country are among key forces moving Canada’s gas prices northward.
