Canada's former top soldier has joined the board of a Halifax defence and simulation firm. Atlantis Systems Corp. said retired general Rick Hillier will join the board of directors. The training company said it is hoping Hillier's knowledge and expertise will assist the firm's growth. More than 100 people work out of the company's headquarters. It is one of four locations where the firm designs and manufactures software and the physical training systems used by public and private customers in the defence industry.
