DragonWave Inc. will cut 48 positions, primarily in Ottawa and Israel, to reduce its annual operating expenses by $6 million. It anticipates $1 million of restructuring charges related to the job cuts. The telecommunications firm now expects $40 million of revenue for the fiscal second quarter ended Aug. 31 - about the middle of its previous guidance of between $35 million and $45 million. Dragonwave sells highcapacity microwave systems that transmit voice, video and data for mobile networks.
