Custom broker buys Jensen inc

Customs broker Livingston International has acquired Norman G. Jensen Inc., including its Canadian brokerage company, Jensen Customs Brokers Canada. Financial terms were not available.

Customs broker Livingston International has acquired Norman G. Jensen Inc., including its Canadian brokerage company, Jensen Customs Brokers Canada. Financial terms were not available. Livingston said the deal strengthens its position along the Canada-U.S. border, while several of NGJ's owners and senior management are expected to remain with the business. NGJ, based in Minneapolis, employs 350 at more than 30 locations in the U.S. and Canada and specializes in high-volume commodity shippers. Toronto-based Livingston has 2,900 staff at more than 100 key border points, ports, airports and other locations across Canada, the United States and in Mexico as well as around the world.
