Biox Corp. is temporarily stopping production of biodiesel at its Hamilton plant and cutting 17 jobs due to weakness in the U.S. market. The company will monitor conditions to determine when to resume production. Biox's biodiesel production facility has capacity to produce 67 million litres per year. It will continue to operate its glycerin refinement system.
