A new award is being launched to celebrate the province's top business leaders.
On Nov. 10, the first B.C. CEO Awards, presented by Business in Vancouver, will honour five of the province's most outstanding business leaders. Awards are based on vision, strategy and leadership; financial performance; people development; innovation; and social responsibility and sustainability.
There are five categories at the awards - large private company (revenue over $50 million), small private company (revenue between $10 million and $50 million), large public company (revenue over $50 million), small public company (revenue under $50 million) and publicly accountable organizations like not-forprofits, credit unions, coops and Crown corporations.
