Workers are on strike at the St. John's International Airport, but officials say there should be minimal disruption for passengers.

Workers are on strike at the St. John's International Airport, but officials say there should be minimal disruption for passengers. The airport authority says the 90 unionized workers, including firefighters, mechanics, electricians and administrative personnel, walked off after serving strike notice Friday.

Officials say management, along with other unionized workers, will try to maintain operations as airports are considered essential services.
