VANCOUVER — Homicide investigators have released images of the vehicle belonging to Ngoc Mai (Anita) Nguyen, the victim of a targeted shooting in North Vancouver last week.

The 32-year-old woman was found suffering from gunshot wounds in an alley behind the Capilano Masonic Lodge on Lonsdale Avenue shortly before 11 a.m. on April 2.

Nguyen, a single mother to a three-year-old daughter, was taken to hospital where she was placed on life support with “non-survivable injuries,” according to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team. She died in hospital on Thursday, police said Tuesday.

Police shared images of Nguyen’s Volkswagen Passat in the hopes that a witness might be able to provide video footage of the vehicle from moments prior to the incident.
