It was a scorcher! Hot temperature records set in 34 communities

It was very, very hot in B.C. on Saturday. According to the Government of Canada's website, hot weather records were broken in 34 B.C. locations, with Osoyoos recording a temperature of 40.

It was very, very hot in B.C. on Saturday.

According to the Government of Canada's website, hot weather records were broken in 34 B.C. locations, with Osoyoos recording a temperature of 40.4 degrees, more than three degrees hotter than the previous Jun. 27 record of 36.9 degrees.

Warfield was a nudge higher at 40.6 degrees.

Below are the temperatures of the record breakers, although they are still preliminary for the time being.
