KELOWNA — As many as 50 Greyhound bus passengers suddenly found themselves stranded at a Revelstoke gas station when they were abandoned by their driver.
Officials at Greyhound Canada aren’t saying much about the incident early Tuesday morning.
Company spokesman Tim Stokes says an investigation has begun.
He says the driver of the Calgary-to-Vancouver bus has been removed from service while the probe is underway.
Stokes also says the company is trying to determine if the unnamed driver had been behind the wheel for too many hours.
The passengers were given refunds when they reached Kelowna before boarding another bus to their destination.
