Punjab sensation coming to Nanaimo

The Indo-Canadian Business Association of Nanaimo and The Port Theatre are proud to present Sukhdev Sukha, Punjab music sensation and one of the top Indo-Canadian pop music stars. He performs at The Port Theatre on May 20 at 7:30 p.m.

In 1997, Sukhdev filmed a video with former Miss India and Bollywood star Celina Jaitely.

In 2001, he toured India with the Vengaboyz. Sukhdev also worked with accomplished Bollywood composer Sandesh Sandilya (Gangaajal and Rules) on his 2003 Dhola album. Sukhdev's latest creation Court Case is due for release this summer and will feature Vancouver's New Generation Bhangra Band En Karma.

CDs will be available to purchase and the band will come out after the show to meet fans and give autographs. Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 1 at 11 am. Tickets are $12 each and children 10 years or under are free.
