- Malaspina University-College's visual and applied arts program presents Progressions exhibition in the foyer of the Theatre building 310, the Visual & Applied Arts building 325 and the Nanaimo Art Gallery building 330 and will run from April 18 to May 6 in the Nanaimo Art Gallery and all summer in building 32.5

- Sense Unique is a studio and garden tour 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Six artists in Nanaimo's Old City and their friends and musicians will delight visitors. Each garden and studio will offer specialty food and music. Proceeds from the raffle of art and yoga equipment will go to an NDSS scholarship for a Fine Arts student.
