Q. I have forgotten my password and submitted my email address but have not received an email.
A. If not in your Inbox, please look for an email from Victoria Times Colonist (email@example.com) in your junk/ spam folder. If the email, is in your junk/ spam folders, you can prevent this from happening again by adding firstname.lastname@example.org to your spam filter's whitelist and requesting a password reset again.
Q. I no longer have access to the email address I first used when I registered with Victoria Times Colonist.
A. You must create a new account with your current email address.
Q. I have created a new account, but I still have credits with my old account.
A. If you had prior credits on your account, please email your old and new account names to email@example.com and we will move your credits within 24 hours.
Q. I have entered my information and still can't access my account.
A. Confirm that you are entering your email address and not your "nickname" in the first entry box. If you still can't log in, email firstname.lastname@example.org and explain the situation.
Q. I would like to place a listing or respond to a listing, but I don't have an account.
A. In order to place or respond to a listing, you must create an account.
When you have completed filling out the form, make sure you select the "Register" button at the bottom of the page.
You will receive an email from Victoria Times Colonist (email@example.com) that confirms your registration. You must click the activation link contained in your email.
Your account will be reviewed and activated within 24 hours and you will be able to post or respond to a listing.
Q. I would like to place a paid business listing on Victoria Times Colonist. How can I pay for the listing?
A. In the main listings page, select the Post a listing tab. After you have completed the form, please select one of the paid options. Once you select the option you would like, fill out the required credit card information. When complete, hit the "Post Listing" button.
Q. I would like to place a paid listing but I do not have a credit card.
A. Please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will assist you.
