Letter: Support for Paradise Trails development

'District of Squamish, let’s get on with it!'

Rendering of the Paradise Trails proposal.

I read your article “Paradise Trails submits development permit application to District of Squamish, published March 13, and I am gobsmacked as to why this beautiful well-supported project is taking so long to get approval to break ground from the District of Squamish.

Reading through the developer’s website I am struck by how much the community would gain. The developers have promised bridge upgrades, public trails and even a much-needed fire hall with truck and equipment.

We all know that housing of all kinds is much needed in the district, and developments such as this that enhance family living and bring economic development to the community are welcomed by growing families. District of Squamish, let’s get on with it!
