History Comes Alive
Hey, Viola!, a musical exploration of Viola Desmond and her civil rights legacy, will be on show at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) from Sept. 26 to 30. Created by Krystle Dos Santos and Tracey Power, the event includes the songs “I Don’t Want to Set the World on Fire,” “Dream A Little Dream” and “Mississippi Goddam.” Tickets are $45/$38/$16.
