The regular schedule on the BC Ferries route between Westview (Powell River) and Little River (Comox) will be back in effect on Friday, April 19. Salish Orca had been operating on a modified schedule to also service Texada Island since April 17, which was expected to continue for three days.

A mechanical difficulty with the propulsion system on the vessel that provides service between Blubber Bay (Texada Island) and Westview terminals has been sucessfully repaired, so the Salish Orca stops to service Texada customers will no longer be necessary with Island Discovery returning to service on that route.
