Powell River RCMP responded to a report of a theft at Quality Foods. The female suspect had allegedly stolen several items from the store and left on foot. Police located the suspect nearby, arrested her for theft under $5,000 and transported her to the detachment. The suspect was held in custody to appear in front of a judge.
