Three family Easter events to enjoy in Delta

Easter is almost here and local businesses are service clubs are getting prepared to welcome Delta families to three community-wide events.

On Saturday, March 30 Tsawwassen Rotary Club invites you to a delightful morning at Diefenbaker Park from 10 a.m. to noon. Enjoy a pancake breakfast, petting zoo, face painting, stick-on tattoos, popcorn, coffee, hot chocolate, and the company of friends and the Easter Bunny! Don’t miss out on the exciting Easter egg hunt! It’s a fun-filled event for the whole family!

On Sunday, March 31, the Ladner Business Association (LBA) is proud to host its Easter Parade and Egg Hunt.

Participants are invited to join the annual parade on Easter Sunday as they stroll through Ladner Village alongside the Easter Bunny and the Delta Police Pipe Band. The parade will commence at 1 p.m. at the corner of Delta and Bridge Street, proceeding down Delta Street to Memorial Park for an Easter egg hunt. Attendees are encouraged to wear bunny ears and decorate their bikes, wagons, or strollers.

Also on Easter Sunday, the North Delta Lions Club presents its 54th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Sunbury Park at 2 p.m. The hunt is open for children ages one to 11. No baskets please.
