Richmond’s well-known plane spotting site is closed until further notice.
Vancouver International Airport (YVR) announced on Monday that the Larry Berg Flight Path Park is temporarily closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
YVR also posted on Twitter saying, “We’re looking forward to safe and sunny plane spotting days in the future, but for now, we have temporarily closed Larry Berg Flight Path Park. Sorry for the inconvenience and stay safe everyone!”
The Larry Berg Flight Path Park is a prime location for plane spotting, picnics and playing as it is directly in line with the south runway, according to the YVR website.
