Richmond teachers haven’t seen their students in four weeks after in-class instruction was suspended by the province.

As the school district grapples with how to still educate its 22,000 students, teachers sent out messages of how they miss teaching in a tweet on Thursday.

 

 

The Ministry of Education is expecting school districts to be offering learning to students by mid-April, and teachers have been reaching out to their students after spring break to set up these learning environments.

Three elementary schools, however, will have staff and students on-site to provide services to children of essential workers. These are McNeely, Gilmore and Brighouse elementary schools.
