If you’re inclined to partake in some civic duty this weekend, the Civic Association of Iranian-Canadians is hosting an all-candidates debate featuring the candidates for the North Vancouver riding tomorrow at Delbrook Community Centre from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.

Bring along your four-legged and winged friends to St. Andrew’s United Church in North Vancouver this Sunday at 4 p.m. for the annual Blessing of the Animals ceremony. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.

Check out West Vancouver Community Centre on Sunday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., for the ninth annual PumpkinFest. There’ll be farm animals, old-fashioned games, an artisan market, a home and harvest competition, and much more. Visit the event’s website for more information.
