Coast Streaming (an ongoing creative enterprise of Mieke Jay and Steve Wright) is putting out a call for “large-scale painters” in connection to an upcoming project with the Sunshine Coast Arts Council. “We are looking for four artists to complete [five-foot by seven-foot] paintings based around the theme of isolation and connection interpreted though imaginative landscapes.” Art supplies and an honorarium will be provided, and the artists will own their paintings after the project ends. Check out details on the Coast Streaming website. Applications close Aug. 4.
