Police Report: Alcohol stolen from cabins on Pasley Island

Sunshine Coast RCMP reported the following for March 30 to April 6: • On April 5, the caretaker for Pasley Island called police to report multiple recreational cabins had been broken into. It appears that alcohol was stolen from the cabins.

Sunshine Coast RCMP reported the following for March 30 to April 6:

• On April 5, the caretaker for Pasley Island called police to report multiple recreational cabins had been broken into. It appears that alcohol was stolen from the cabins. The exact date of the break-ins is uncertain. The next day, at approximately 9 p.m., police received a report that a small boat with two occupants was seen hanging around the island and then pulling up to a private dock. Residents on the island were alerted and one went down and ordered the people to leave the dock and the island, which they did.

Theft of ATV

• Sometime in the early hours of April 1, a late-90s Honda 300 ATV, dark green in colour, was stolen from the 10,000 block of Lost Lane in Halfmoon Bay. It is believed the ATV was pushed off the property and then onto a truck waiting in the area. If anyone has any information regarding this theft, please call the Sunshine Coast RCMP at 604-885-2266 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477. File 2020-2041 relates.

Bike Theft

• Sometime between April 5 and 6, a grey and silver Rocky Mountaineer 21-speed mountain bike was stolen from the 1100 block of Chaster Road in Gibsons. If anyone has any information regarding this theft, please call the Sunshine Coast RCMP at 604-885-2266 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477. File 2020-2041 relates.

Found Property

• A kayak was located on March 30 in the water north of the Silver Sands marina in Madeira Park. To claim, call the RCMP with a description. File 2020-1989 relates.

• On April 4, a nine-foot Zodiak boat and motor was located floating in water off the end of McCullough Road in the Wilson Creek area. Call the RCMP with a description to claim. File 2020-2135 relates.
