Congratulations to our Literacy Crawl winners! The organizers created a wonderful new outdoor format, a sign of the times enjoyed by all participants. Well done and thank you! The January event was a positive and fun start to 2021.
Drum roll! Our so loved happy place The Bargain Barn will open for the first time this year on March 3. Thanks to the generous support of our Royal Canadian Legion Branch 112 Madeira Park for providing the temporary home of The Barn until further notice.
The Barn will be open Wednesdays and Saturdays noon until 3 p.m. Donations will be accepted as of Friday, March 12 at the Pender Harbour Community Hall 1 to 3:30 p.m. and Fridays from then on.

The PHARA Town Hall via Zoom last Sunday had great news to share. Highlights included the announcement from the PH Health Centre of the future arrival of a resident doctor, $20,000 raised by Lyn Charlton’s Spreading Kindness fundraiser and Rose Everett honoured with the Lifetime Volunteer Award.
