Montreal-based early-music collective La Nef is returning to Victoria for a pair of pops concerts at the Royal Theatre this weekend, backed by the Victoria Symphony.

“We’re doubling down,” says Victoria Symphony CEO Matthew White. “The last year has been our most successful year in about a decade. We’re sensing a renewed interest in the orchestra, and people are really responding to the quality.”

Peter Hayman has 25 years of experience in the film, television and music industries, which will serve him well as he navigates a rapidly-changing world of media and entertainment.
