The B.C. Hockey League club will introduce Wes Mussio as the new majority owner at a news conference this afternoon at Frank Crane Arena.

“I am pleased to announce that Penny and I are the new owners of the Nanaimo Clippers of the B.C. Hockey League- Junior A- Giving back to Nanaimo and hockey in BC!,” Mussio, a personal injury lawyer in Vancouver, posted on his Facebook account Wednesday night, referring to his wife Penny Mussio.

Mussio is a native of Trail and former hockey, soccer and track athlete. He is also the majority owner of the Delta Ice Hawks of the Junior B Pacific Junior Hockey League.
