Four-way tie at Highland Pacific in Bayview Place Performance Tour event

There was a four-way tie for first place Sunday at Highland Pacific in the 10th golf tournament on the Bayview Place Performance Tour. Nate Ollis, assistant pro at Cordova Bay, was among those placing first at two-under-par 69.

Nate Ollis, assistant pro at Cordova Bay, was among those placing first at two-under-par 69. He was joined atop the leader board by Michael Griffin and veteran pro Jim Rutledge of Uplands and Isaac Weintraub of Gorge Vale. Tied for fifth were Steven Lecuyer and Evan Holmes at one-under 70.

Ollis jumped into first place in the season-long Performance Tour Order of Merit standings. Former leader Kevin Carrigan of Royal Colwood fell to second on the Order of Merit after finishing in a tie for ninth Sunday. Rounding out the top three on the Order of Merit is Nanaimo’s Zach Anderson, who finished in a tie for seventh Sunday.

The next Bayview Place Performance Tour event is April 7 at Bear Mountain.

The top three players on the Performance Tour Order of Merit will receive exemptions into the 2019 PGA Tour Canada Bayview Place/DC Bank Open, presented by the Times Colonist, from May 30 to June 2 at Uplands.
