That was me posting on the Times Colonist Twitter account yesterday during a friendly debate about the merits of newspaper paywalls.
More specifically, it was a discussion about the merits of sharing links on Twitter that lead to a story that is behind a newspaper paywall.
When it comes to paying for news online, my argument has always been that it isn't so much about "monetizing" the news as it is attaching value to journalism.
