User-pay model not the way to go

Re: "Driver should pay cost of the roads," Sept. 27. The argument that drivers don't pay the full cost of roads shouldn't carry much weight.

Refusing to pay taxes might get their attention

I consider the delay of the opening of the legislature this session to be undemocratic. I have no way of knowing what is being done in our (the citizens') name. "No taxation without representation" was an old rallying cry.
