So B.C. is bailing out B.C. Hydro to the tune of $1.1 billion. Isn’t that just us bailing out ourselves? Shifting that much money from one pocket to another is just going to wear out our pants prematurely.
It sounds as if the biggest winners will be those who waste energy. Is subsidizing millionaires’ Hydro bills really the best plan for our tax dollars?
