Our family wants your wonderful residents, beautiful island and magnificent scenery to know how special it is for us to visit. Yes, there are places in the U.S. where visitors go to enjoy their holiday time, but for our money, none so special as Vancouver Island.
North Carolina in the summer allows one to take three showers a day to provide relief from the heat and humidity, but not on Vancouver Island. Biking, salmon fishing and golf are a terrific way to start a holiday, but more important are the nice, helpful people who afford us a safe and welcoming environment.
The adage that one should spend one’s money on experiences rather than “stuff” rings true. We will take with us the memories of our time spent on Vancouver Island, recalling the special times as we return to our work world. I’d like to keep Vancouver Island a secret, but I do want others to know what a jewel you all have.
